Lib Tech's Skate Banana has been so well received that nearly all snowboard brands have jumped on the reverse camber wagon. The only thing is Lib and Gnu share Magne-Traction, a style of edge that grips better than a standard edge. So the hold you lose from the nose and tail being lifted you get back from the Magne-Traction edge. They call this Banana Traction, or BTX. So now Gnu has released the Park Pickle. Both boards have received 2010 Good Wood awards from Transworld and 2010 Platinum Picks from Snowboard Magazine. The main difference is that the Park Pickle's edges are different on each side, so there is one meant for heelside and one meant for toeside. This helps the board turn better where you have less leverage. Also, the Pickle is stiffer. So, for an extra buttery good time, we suggest you pick up a Banana. But for a little more response and maneuverability, pack a Pickle. Hurry, they don't produce a lot of these and they do sell out early.
