Ground Zero sponsors local skateboarders, snowboarders, skimboarders, and wakeboarders, but it isn't easy to get on the team.  Ground Zero only sponsors the best.  That could mean best at certain aspects of the division, best at a young age with likeliness of improvement, best all around, all with the best team attitude.

What is sponsorship?

Sponsorship is when your ability gets so much recognition that a company, such as Ground Zero, wants you to represent them.  You have to be highly skilled and have a great attitude.  Sponsored riders at GZ receive many different benefits which may include discounts, free product, further sponsorship from other brands, and more.  It depends on a rider to rider basis.

Our goal at Ground Zero is to promote the rider while the rider promotes Ground Zero so the rider may improve skills and be noticed by big brands.  At Ground Zero, we prepare you for the next step.

Here is what you need to know:

Skate Team

We get asked about the skate team several times a week.  To be a part of our skate team you must:

-Be the best at any spot, park, or comp you go to.

-Have a great team attitude and be able to meet with and mesh well with the team on a weekly basis.

-Compete, and compete well.

If you can do all these then you might be a fit for the team.

No need to send us a video, we have never sponsored a skater from a video but it is good to know that you film.  We are looking for skaters who are known in the community, so our team hand picks them, as our team skates regularly throughout the region at spots, parks, and comps.  If you are great skater but the team doesn't see you, then you haven't made yourself visible enough to get the Ground Zero name out there.  If you see some of our team, talk to them.  A roster is on our website.
